J-Pop isn't all just groups of teenage girls with high-pitch voices. J-Pop Japan covers many different types of bands and solo artists such as Asian Kung-Fu Generation and YUI.

I’ll have a lot more to say when I return at the end of Sept. I’ll also have a bag full of new music from Japan!!

The sixth issue of hit J-Rock magazine “Rock on J” is now available for pre-order. It includes a free A2 size Plastic Tree poster as well as photos taken at their recent surprise event.
The even better news is that CD-Japan are running a competition to win a D’s poster signed by all the band. All you have to do is order the sixth issue of “Rock on J” to be entered.

Mr. Children have announced that they will release a DVD of their 2007 tour on 6th August 2008. The DVD covers the performance on the 8th and 9th of September at the Nissan Stadium in Tokyo. It includes two discs and a 160-page book.

Today Mr. Children released their 32nd album entitled “GIFT”.
“GIFT” was chosen by NHK as the official Beijing Olympics theme song and will be used with all their coverage of the Olympics.
